Vinistra 2022: Platinum and gold medal for Malvasia winery Arman Marijan Wines

Malvasia and other wines of the famous Istrian winemaker Marijan Arman regularly win the highest awards and recognitions at Vinistra, as well as other major competitions. The Malvasia Grand Cru line has only received gold medals since it was introduced. At this year's edition of Vinistra, the Malvasia Grand Cru from the 2021 vintage was decorated with a platinum medal with 95 points according to ever stricter evaluation criteria. With this award, Malvasia Istrian 2021 won a gold medal.

The term Grand Cru in the wine world was introduced by the French and it signifies the best position in the vineyard, where grapes grow with the best potential for the production of premium wines. It is from these best positions and from these old vines that the family produces a separate wine from which a top brand was created - Malvasia Grand Cru, which was the champion of Vinistra for two years in a row.
