The Istrian ombolo or Žlomprt, as we also call it, is dried pork loin. It is cured with sea salt, seasoned with pepper and other spices and, after curing and ageing, left to dry for approximately three weeks if served fried or 90 days if cut dry into thin slices. Either way, it is a first-rate culinary delicacy.
Weight may vary. The piece can vary from 0.30kg to 0,40kg.
*In order to prevent packages from being left over the weekend in the warehouses of the delivery service, we ship cured meats and cheeses on Mondays. Therefore, the delivery period can be longer, up to 10 working days.
