Merlot - quality wine

In the vineyards of western Istria, the Merlot grape thrives like no other in the world. Because they are closer to the coastal breeze than the rest of the New World merlot, their fruitiness, not alcohol, comes to the fore.

Because of the cold spring showers and the permeable soil, the wine is fresher than in Bordeaux.

Also in 2010, a year of changeable climate, the bunches of Istrian merlot produced soft and full wine, long flavored with an alcohol content of less than 13%, full of black berries on the nose and on the palate.

For lunch or after, it is the wine of the Istrian table.
