Merlot

French variety, one of the most widely distributed wine varieties in the world.
The harvest is at the end of the 9th month; after fermentation, the wine aged in a combination of large wooden barrels and small barrique barrels (225 liters, burnt medium) for 14 months.
The wine is a ruby ​​red, full of fruity taste.
The taste is dominated by currants, plums, black cherries, Mediterranean herbs…
It is also rounded with soft pleasant tannins which makes it a favorite 'partner' in blending with other black varieties.
