Santa Elena

Santa Elena is a red wine blend of Merlot and Refošk. It is named after the location of the same name near Oprtalj. It is a strong and rich wine with a medium-intense aroma with notes of forest fruits, cinnamon and carob. It is a great accompaniment to red meat dishes and rich and more intensely spicy dishes, and is best served at room temperature.

VINIFICATION
Spontaneous fermentation on the skins without the addition of enzymes.
Separate maceration for each vineyard, 15-25 days. Own yeasts.

AGING
In wooden barrels for 12-16 months
